Symposium on Advanced Wound Care Meeting

Rachel Ortiz, MS, has received an award for an abstract titled Virulence Factor and Pathogen Mitigation Using a Hydroconductive Wound Dressing, that was submitted for presentation at this fall’s Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) meeting, which takes place September 27-29 in Las Vegas. Each year, the SAWC recognizes the highest scoring poster abstracts in each of the 4 categories. Rachel’s was the highest scoring poster abstract in the Laboratory Research category. Her coauthors are Lauren Moffatt, PhD, Bonnie Carney, Rachael Bullock, and Jeffrey Shupp, MD.
