DC Firefighters' Burn Foundation Donation

The Burn and Surgical Research Team was presented with a donation by the DC Firefighters’ Burn Foundation at a luncheon held annually by the organization in support of the The Burn Center and MedSTAR/Trauma Services. The luncheon was held on December 19thand representatives from DC Firefighters’ Burn Foundation, DC Fire and EMS leadership, The Burn Center and MedSTAR were all in attendance. The donation is intended to further support both translational and clinical research being done, aimed at improving the care of burn and trauma patients.
